Released online for World Cancer Day on 4th February 2025, Cancer52 shared the 'State of the Nation report on Rare and Less Common Cancers. Learnings from patients and partners'.

The report features insights from Cancer52's patient survey around the wider impact of rare and common cancer, early diagnosis, and experience of care and support.

Cancer52 also renews adherence to the three key policy asks, first iterated in Cancer52's Manifesto:

  1. Reduce deaths and address health inequalities which contribute to poor outcomes

  2. Increase early diagnosis of rare and less common cancers

  3. A new national taskforce on rare and less common cancers, with patient involvement at its core
