The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) held a consultation on the role of incentive schemes in general practice in Spring 2024. In response Cancer52 highlighted the importance of general practice in diagnosing and ongoing management of cancer care and suggested ways GPs could increase focus on patients with rare and less common cancers.
