During June 2020 Cancer52 with help from many of its member charities ran a survey of people with rare and less common cancers to understand what the impact of Covid-19 had been on people’s cancer treatment and care.
More than 1400 people responded of whom more than 1000 were in England. You can read a summary of findings and resultant recommendations here and a full set of results here.
Recommendations covered areas including shielding, reassurance, new ways of working, support for charities and what would be needed in the event of a second wave of the virus.
